Dr. Paige Carambio is a graduate of William James College (formerly Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) where she received both a Master of Arts and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is currently a licensed psychologist in the state of Massachusetts.

Dr. Carambio graduated with honors and a B.A. in Psychology from Simmons College. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to San Francisco, where she worked in the call center at United Behavioral Health. This experience piqued her interest in the field of mental health and spurred her to pursue her doctorate in clinical psychology.

As a clinical trainee, Dr. Carambio worked with clients across the lifespan in a number of diverse settings. She began her training at Jewish Family & Children’s Services in Waltham, working with adult survivors of intimate partner violence. It was during that formative first year that Dr. Carambio began to cultivate her skills as a strength-based, trauma therapist. Shifting to a very different training setting the following year, Dr. Carambio provided individual and family psychotherapy to adolescents at Phillips Academy in Andover.

Eager to learn more about psychological assessment, Dr. Carambio completed her third year of training at Boston Neuropsychological Services in Needham. She split her time equally between conducting psychological evaluations and providing individual and group psychotherapy at the Mystic Valley Regional Charter Schools in Malden. For her final two years of clinical training, Dr. Carambio worked at Salem State University’s Counseling and Health Services center, providing psychotherapy, giving guest lectures, and participating in campus-wide outreach initiatives on topics such as stress management, sexual assault prevention, and drug and alcohol abuse.

Dr. Carambio has honed her collaborative, strength-based approach to testing and psychotherapy throughout her personal journey and clinical training. She understands that each case is unique and deserving of an assessment experience tailored to the client’s specific needs. Dr. Carambio’s approachable demeanor and empathic professionalism ensure that her clients feel at ease during every step of the assessment process.

Her clinical interests include neuropsychological testing, trauma, strength-based assessment and treatment, and college mental health.

In her spare time, Paige enjoys hanging out with her husband and their two cats, writing, cooking, jogging, reading, listening to podcasts, and laughing at her own jokes.
